Hazard has fantasy managers scrambling

Wednesday, August 22nd, 2012

Eden Hazard has been the pick of the Premier League’s summer signings so far, impressing against Reading in his latest appearance in Chelsea’s 4-2 win. He already has a handful of assists to his name and 16.3% of Fantasy managers have him in their team.

Hazard’s ability to take on defenders in the penalty area has resulted in him already gaining 2 penalties, earning valuable points for fantasy managers’. This isn’t out of the blue either as last year he managed to win 7 penalties for Lille last term. As of yet no-one can accuse him of gamesmanship in winning these penalties nor even in his overall game as he looks dogged and robust in the tackle.

Inevitably players will try to soften him up with rugged challenges, Gary Caldwell did just that on the weekend. Refreshingly Hazard didn’t produce the amateur dramatics that would be more at home on the west end stage instead of the west end football club.

Newcastle will have their hands full on Saturday evening.
